These filler comics take place a little while after the events of the last chapter, and are almost totally inconsequential. On with the shoooowwww!
Re: supermarkets - In my head, all supermarkets are just a series of vendor stands in a huge warehouse. The frozen foods section is an arctic wasteland, also with vendor stands.
PS don't worry, that pineapple (wtf) landed safely back in the pile with its horrifying spiky counterparts.
